Tell us about yourself and what inspired you to become an Aesthetician?
I’m Kylie, the owner of Clarity with Kylie in Huntsville, Alabama. My interest in aesthetics started very close to home. My husband and I have been together for nearly ten years, and throughout that time, I’ve watched him struggle with acne and the effect it had on his confidence. Wanting to understand his skin and find ways to genuinely help him is what first drew me to skincare. His journey showed me that skin concerns can affect so much more than our appearance, and it inspired me to help others feel heard, cared for, and more confident in their own skin.
How long have you been an aesthetician and what is your favorite thing about your job?
I have been an aesthetician for almost two years. My favorite part of my job is building relationships with my clients and watching their confidence grow as they begin to better understand their skin. I love creating a space where people feel comfortable, cared for, and able to be themselves.
How has Skin Script changed your business?
Skin Script has helped me confidently customize every facial based on what my client’s skin needs that day. Their education has also helped me grow my knowledge, become a better esthetician, and feel more confident when educating my own clients. Skin Script has played such a meaningful role in the growth of my business.
What are the Skin Script products you can’t live without?
The Cucumber Hydration Toner and the Golden Honey Nourishing Mask, which is also the best massage medium, by the way! Those two products are absolute staples in my treatment room, and I genuinely couldn’t imagine performing my facials without them.
What is the last song you played on Spotify?
The last thing I played was my Clarity with Kylie playlist on Spotify. It has the perfect mix of calm jazz, R&B, and even a little Bad Bunny mixed in! It’s such a vibe and helps create the cozy, relaxing atmosphere I want my clients to experience during their facials.
Where or what is the best place you’ve ever been to?
Honestly, some of my favorite places to visit are local plant shops, especially with an iced coffee in my hand! I have such a love for houseplants, and there’s something so peaceful about walking through a shop filled with greenery and finding a new plant to bring home. I also love supporting other local businesses, so a good plant shop and an iced coffee will always feel like my happy place.
What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened in the treatment room?
There are honestly too many moments to choose from because I don’t embarrass easily! I prefer to stand while performing facials, but I’m constantly forgetting to slide my chair out of the way. I’ll be creating the calmest, most relaxing experience and then suddenly trip over it and try to keep going like nothing happened. Thankfully, most of my clients have their eyes closed, but they can usually hear me stumble and start laughing! Those little moments normally end with both of us laughing, and I think they remind my clients that they can completely be themselves in my treatment room too.

Definitely Chick-fil-A, which would hopefully also mean unlimited Coke Zero!
