Tell us about yourself and what inspired you to become an Aesthetician?
Before I was an aesthetician, I worked in the hospital/restaurant industry, so I’ve always enjoyed serving people, just in a different form. Fast forward, I became a mom and realized how important self-care was for me. I then went to aesthetics school to get my license so I could help others prioritize their self-care through facials and waxing. You show up better when you feel good. 😊
How long have you been an aesthetician and what is your favorite thing about your job?
I’ve been licensed for 5 years now! My favorite part of my job is giving clients time to let go of life for a little while.
How has Skin Script changed your business?
I found Skin Script when I was in aesthetics school. I did my own research and immediately fell in love with the products. I love that they are created by aestheticians for aestheticians, which gives me confidence that the products are well formulated. It’s helped my business tremendously. When I launched my business, Breathe & Glow Esthetics, I decided to invest in the Pro Bundle – The Fundamentals, plus some extra retail for my shelves. I use Spotify in my treatment room, so it was a spa playlist to help my clients relax during their facials.
Where or what is the best place you’ve ever been to?
Paris, France! It’s a trip with my family I will never forget.
What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened in the treatment room?
Probably having to stop to step out and use the restroom. Of course, I didn’t tell my client. I just said I needed to grab something from the next room.
