Tell us about yourself and what inspired you to become an Aesthetician?
My journey into aesthetics was inspired by something much deeper than skincare alone. I truly wanted to make an impact on the way people feel about themselves. I have always believed that confidence can change the way a person shows up in the world, and healthy skin often plays a major role in that confidence.
What inspired me to become an aesthetician was the opportunity to help people not only improve their skin, but also improve their self-esteem, self-care habits, and overall sense of worth. There is something incredibly powerful about watching someone look in the mirror and feel beautiful, confident, and seen again.
I also knew I wanted to make a meaningful difference in the beauty industry through education, empowerment, and results-driven care. For me, aesthetics is not just about treatments. It is about creating experiences that help people heal, glow, and feel their absolute best from the inside out.
Today, I am grateful to use my platform to educate, inspire, and remind others that beauty begins with confidence, self-love, and self-investment.
How long have you been an aesthetician, and what is your favorite thing about your job?
For the past 8 years, I’ve had the privilege of working as an Aesthetician, and honestly, I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else. What I love most about this industry is the ability to impact people in so many ways beyond skincare alone. Every client who sits in my chair has a story, and I’m grateful to be able to provide not only services, but also encouragement, education, and a safe space.
One of my favorite parts of being an Esthetician is helping clients truly understand their skin and overall wellness so they can make healthier choices and feel more confident in themselves. Whether I’m helping someone navigate acne, improve their skin health, or simply giving them a moment to relax and feel beautiful, the transformation goes far beyond the surface. Watching someone regain their confidence and glow from the inside out is the most rewarding part of what I do, and it’s what continues to fuel my passion every single day.
How has Skin Script changed your business?
Skin Script has truly transformed my business and my confidence as an Esthetician. It is the skincare line I have used since I was in school, so it has been a part of my journey from the very beginning. The education behind the brand, combined with the quality of the products, has allowed me to properly educate my clients and help them achieve real, lasting changes in their skin.
What I love most about Skin Script is that it is both clinical and corrective while still creating an amazing client experience. Time after time, the line has delivered visible results for my clients, whether they are struggling with acne, hyperpigmentation, aging concerns, or overall skin health. There are definitely a few Skin Script products that I simply cannot live without because they consistently deliver results for both me and my clients. My absolute favorites are the Ageless Hydrating Serum, the Golden Honey Nourishing Mask, and the Açai Berry Moisturizer.
The Ageless Hydrating Serum is one of my go-to products because it provides incredible hydration while helping the skin look smooth, healthy, and rejuvenated. It works beautifully for so many skin types and leaves the skin feeling refreshed and balanced.
The Golden Honey Nourishing Mask is truly a client favorite. I love how calming, nourishing, and healing it is for the skin. It gives clients that luxurious glow while supporting hydration and overall skin health, making it perfect for creating an elevated treatment experience.

What is the last song you played on Spotify?
The last song I played on repeat would definitely have to be Dirty Diana by Michael Jackson. With all the excitement surrounding the movie and his music back in heavy rotation, I’ve been revisiting so many of his classics. “Dirty Diana” is timeless, powerful, and full of energy, and it’s one of those songs that instantly pulls you in every single time it comes on. Michael Jackson’s artistry, performance style, and ability to create music that still impacts generations later is truly unmatched.
Where or what is the best place you’ve ever been to?
One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited would definitely have to be Cancún. I absolutely fell in love with the island itself, from the breathtaking views and vibrant atmosphere to the warmth of the people and the rich culture. The food was incredible, the energy was unmatched, and there was always something exciting to experience.
One of my favorite parts was the nightlife and finding amazing salsa clubs with great music and even better energy. There is something so special about being surrounded by good music, dancing, culture, and people simply enjoying life. Cancun gave me the perfect mix of relaxation, fun, beauty, and unforgettable memories, and it is definitely a place I would visit again and again.
What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened in the treatment room?
One of the most embarrassing moments in the treatment room would definitely have to be my very first day working in my own treatment room. I was in the middle of waxing a client when my entire wax pot fell straight onto the floor. Not just a little spill either…two full cans of wax all over my beautiful hardwood floors. I wanted to disappear instantly.
Thankfully, the client was my friend, so instead of panicking, we ended up laughing hysterically while spending the next hour scraping and cleaning wax off the floor together. Let’s just say it was definitely a memorable bonding experience.
As embarrassing as it was at the time, it ended up being one of those moments that taught me a valuable lesson very early in my career: always keep Goo Gone nearby for emergency wax disasters. Now it’s honestly one of my favorite stories to tell because every Aesthetician has those moments that humble them and remind them we are all human behind the beauty services.
What would you pick if you won a sweepstakes that gave you a lifetime supply of anything you wanted?
If I won a sweepstakes for a lifetime supply of anything, it would absolutely have to be Amazon. Honestly, they have everything. Whether it’s shopping for myself, buying gifts for others, restocking business essentials, skincare tools, office supplies, décor, or random last-minute finds I suddenly “need,” Amazon somehow always comes through.
As a business owner especially, having lifetime access to order everything from organization supplies to beauty essentials would be a dream. The convenience alone is unmatched. One minute you’re ordering skincare towels and retail supplies, and the next minute you somehow added candles, snacks, and a motivational planner to the cart too. It would definitely be the ultimate win.
